A Gift Better than Gold

My dear husband recently came home for a super short and condensed mini-visit from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and brought his ever-loving and slightly gluttonous wife a gift more precious than gold. For my readers in the US, you are probably scratching your heads and wondering what could be better than a gift that cost almost $1000 an ounce. For my fellow American expats who have been away from home for a while, you will understand the answer!

Nothing like a light and fluffy glazed Krispy Kreme donut to make my heart grow fonder. Thanks honey.

Salaam Aleikum

Wow... Krispy Kreme. They have one in Sharjah. When we were there, this summer, I kept thinking, how far is this from the hotel? Can walk and eat THAT MUCH at the same time? Can I sneak these? I didn't get any, just drooled. Maybe next time...

Salam,
How did I miss this post? And how come you didn't call me for coffee and a donut crumb? I'd have taken a crumb.

sasaSister, you didn't really think there would be any crumbs left did you? LOL.

Next time he comes for a visit, I will put in an order for a dozen glazed for you!

Actually, now I am craving Shipley's Devil's Food Donuts from Hoover. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
